Gail's story couldn't be told at a better time. Pool is slowly working it's way back into the mainstream and "9 ball" could be the catalyst for another pool explosion, much like "The Color of Money" was in the '80's. The only difference is that this time it won't only be the boys out buying new pool cues! With an exciting plot line full of twists and turns interwoven with Gail's touching story of loss, exploitation and redemption, "9 ball" is not just a pool movie, it's really a coming of age story. Sheltered as a child and controlled as a young adult, Gail discovers that her true passion is to leave the bars and smoky pool halls behind and set her sights on being the #1 player in the world. This project is the most exciting thing happening in pool right now and I'm thrilled to be a part of it. "9 ball" is destined to become a classic.
